Whey Protein Recipes

There are essentially tons of recipes that incorporate whey protein as a main ingredient. The key to a healthful recipe are the ingredients that are added to our meals. Are you opposed to artificial sweeteners? Or do the all natural sweeteners with a low glycemic index fit your lifestyle and goals?

After looking over hundreds of recipes on the internet, I have determined that everyone’s goal for using supplements is different, therefore, the ingredients in their recipes need to be adjusted according to their goals. For example, someone who has had lap band surgery will need to know the nutritional qualities of an ingredient much more so then someone who is simply adding the ingredient as a pick me upper! A person who is allergic to pesticide residue must be more particular about the source of an ingredient then someone who has never had a problem eating washed traditionally grown foods. Do you get my point? What works for some people may not work for another.

Sure, most of us in the health food industry have reasons we enjoy the field – and that is to be able to have a healthful, productive life where chemicals and human intervention is limited in the production of the foods we eat. However, not everyone has the money, education or resources to have access to such healthful options so, they do what they can. And that is o.k. because understanding that improvement in oneself if one step at a time, not a mountain at one time.

In looking at some of the recipes I will be sharing with you on this site, change out some of the ingredients and play around in the kitchen. Experiment with the foods and ingredients you enjoy the most. If you don’t like chocolate flavor, choose vanilla. If you want to add a natural sweetener to an oatmeal cookie recipe, add honey or stevia plus extra raisins. Yum!

Most of all, I hope I can get feedback from some of the folks who visit this site. I would appreciate it! Happy Health!
